Active Industrial Repairs has been servicing air tools & equipment since 1987 and has established a strong reputation for reliable, quality & prompt repairs at a fair price.

In December 2017, with the retirement of the original owners Dave & Elaine Pakeman, LTD Air tools was purchased by Active Industrial Repairs Pty Ltd, which is owned & operated by Ian Kalms.

Ian has accumulated extensive knowledge of machinery operations, repairs, maintenance & development from almost 40 years within the manufacturing industry.

Ian’s experience was gained not only from working in Australian manufacturing facilities, but also through the management of designing, purchasing, constructing, training & maintenance of plant & equipment in many manufacturing facilities around the world.

Through working in remote & isolated conditions & environments, Ian has an understanding and empathy for business owners and understands that non-operational equipment is unproductive. Prompt, reliable service & repairs at a fair price are of the utmost importance.
